Reach Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Potomac Households Directly
A permissioned resident email list across 20814, 20815, 20816, 20817 and 20854, relationships with luxury property managers in the area, and a directory that verifies credentials before anyone appears in it.
What you are actually buying
Most local directories sell you a listing and hope search traffic arrives. This one has a resident email list across the three towns before it has a single ranking, and that list is the distribution. When the directory publishes, it publishes to people who already receive email from us.
That matters because your customers here do not behave like customers in a volume market. Households in these ZIP codes research for weeks, often on behalf of a parent, and they are unusually sensitive to credentials. Reaching them while they are researching is worth more than reaching them at the moment they type a search, because by then they have usually already asked someone they trust.
There are also relationships in progress with managers of luxury properties in the area, who field the same question from residents constantly and have no vetted answer to give.
- A resident email list across the five target ZIP codes, built and segmented by permission.
- Direct relationships with luxury property managers in the three towns.
- Editorial pages on how to hire in each trade, including how to verify a Maryland license yourself.
- A free aging-in-place guide that brings residents onto the list before they need anyone.
Said plainly
Two things stated plainly. The directory launched on 14 August 2026, so it is weeks old: it is indexed, but it has no established rankings and the traffic numbers are small. And the resident email list is being segmented by permission before anything commercial is sent to it, because burning a local list in a market this small would cost more than it could ever earn. What you are buying is early position in front of a defined local audience, not a traffic number.
Why the platforms you already pay for underperform here
You buy a lead. So do three competitors. The homeowner gets four calls in ten minutes, chooses on price, and the platform bills you whether or not anyone picked up. Your cost per acquired customer rises every year and you never own the relationship.
Those platforms are built for volume. Bethesda, Chevy Chase and Potomac are not a volume market, they are a trust market. The household reading a page about what an MHIC license actually covers, then seeing you listed with a confirmed license number, is a completely different prospect from someone who filled in a form.
This directory does not sell leads and does not sell your customer to your competitor. You pay once a year for a position.
What makes a listing here different
Credentials are checked, not collected
We verify your license against the issuing Maryland registry ourselves. A forwarded PDF is not accepted. That is the entire reason a resident trusts the badge next to your name.
Nobody buys past the standard
Payment and verification are separate. A paid listing that fails verification is removed and refunded. That protects your listing more than it constrains you.
No shared leads
An enquiry about your business goes to your business. No auction, no distribution to three competitors.
Featured placement is capped
Two featured slots per category per town, enforced in the build rather than promised in a sales page.
Annual, not monthly
Billed once a year, and founding listings pay half that rate for the first two years. No card on file, no monthly failure, no renewal you forgot about.
What it costs
Billed once a year. Billed once a year. Founding listings are half this rate, held for two years. Prices differ by category because the value of a customer differs by category. If a price looks wrong for your business, say so and we will talk about it.
| Category | Verified, per year | Featured, per year |
|---|---|---|
| Luxury Real Estate Agents | $2,490 | $3,990 |
| Home Care and Aging in Place | $1,990 | $3,190 |
| Accessibility and Home Modifications | $1,790 | $2,890 |
| Senior Move Managers and Organizers | $990 | $1,590 |
| Home Maintenance and Repair | $790 | $1,290 |
Featured placement is capped at 2 businesses per category per town across 3 towns, and existing featured partners get first refusal at renewal. A basic listing is free in every category: your name, category and service towns, with enquiries routed through the site.
The founding offer
Half the standard price, held for two years, with thirty days to change your mind.
Founding businesses pay half the annual rate shown above, and that rate is locked for two full years. Home Care is $995 rather than $1,990. Home Maintenance is $395 rather than $790. Later applicants pay the standard price.
We are not offering a free trial, and it is worth saying why. The directory launched this month. It is indexed but it has no established rankings, and search takes the better part of a year to mean anything. A ninety day trial would end at the exact moment there was least to show you, which would waste your time and ours. What you are buying instead is early position, at half price, while it is still early.
You have thirty days from payment to ask for a full refund, for any reason at all. After that the year runs. And if we cannot verify your credentials, you are not listed and you are refunded in full, whenever that happens.
You sign a listing agreement at signup. It exists because we cannot lawfully publish your business under a verification badge without your written consent, and we will not publish anyone who has not given it.
- Half the standard annual rate, locked for two years.
- Nothing to pay to apply. You are invoiced only once verification is complete.
- Thirty days from payment for a full refund, no reason required.
- If we cannot verify your credentials, you are not listed and are refunded in full.
- Verification must be complete before your listing goes live.
- Billed once a year. No card kept on file and no automatic renewal.

What we will ask you for
Verification is a document check against a public registry, not a form. It takes a few days. Having these ready makes it fast.
- The exact legal name your business is licensed under, which is often not your trading name.
- A certificate of insurance sent directly from your insurer or broker rather than forwarded by you.
- A named contact who can answer questions about staffing and screening.
By category
- Home Care and Aging in Place
- Your Maryland Residential Service Agency license number, and whether caregivers are W-2 employees or 1099 contractors.
- Accessibility and Home Modifications
- Your MHIC license number, workers compensation certificate, and any CAPS designations held by named crew.
- Home Maintenance and Repair
- Your MHIC number plus the trade license covering the work you actually perform, and the master license holder's name.
- Senior Move Managers and Organizers
- Your USDOT or Maryland PSC number if you transport goods, NASMM membership if held, and your bond details.
- Luxury Real Estate Agents
- Your Maryland Real Estate Commission license number and current brokerage of record.
We do decline applications
Worth saying plainly, because it is what your listing is buying. Applications are declined when a license cannot be confirmed with the issuing registry, when insurance has lapsed, when the business does not genuinely serve these three towns, or when there is an unresolved pattern of complaints.
If we decline you we will tell you why. Usually it is a document problem rather than a judgement about your work, and it is fixable.
Read the full verification standards, including what we deliberately do not check.
Questions from providers
Why is it annual rather than monthly?
Because neither of us should be dealing with a failed card or a renewal nobody remembered. Local directories lose more accounts to expired payment methods than to dissatisfaction. One invoice a year, no card kept on file, and nothing renews without you saying so.
How big is the email list?
Across the five ZIP codes it is in the thousands of households, and it is being segmented by permission before anything commercial goes to it. We would rather tell you the number in a conversation, with the segmentation explained, than put a headline figure on a web page that flatters us. Ask and you will get a straight answer.
Is this a lead fee arrangement?
No. No per-lead charges, no percentage of any job, no revenue share. A flat annual fee for a listing position. Enquiries through the site go to you and are not sold to anyone else.
What happens if my license lapses?
The badge stops rendering automatically on its expiry date rather than waiting for someone to notice, and we contact you. If the credential is not restored the listing comes down. Paying does not exempt anyone, which is the reason the badge means anything.
Can I buy my way to the top?
You can buy a featured slot and there are only two per category per town. You cannot buy past verification, and you cannot displace an existing featured partner, because they get first refusal at renewal.
I already pay for Angi, Thumbtack or Nextdoor. Why add this?
Those sell volume and sell the same homeowner to your competitors. This puts you in front of a smaller number of local households who research carefully and care about credentials. It is not a replacement for volume advertising. It targets the customer volume advertising handles worst.
What if I want out?
Within thirty days of paying, email us and you get a full refund, no reason needed. After that the year you paid for runs to its end, but nothing renews automatically and there is no notice period or cancellation fee. Say the word at any point and we will remove your business from the directory entirely.
Apply for a founding listing
Applications are reviewed in order received. Verification takes a few days once we have your documents. Nothing to pay to apply, and founding rates hold for two years.
